a finish

This quilt top has been a slow process... but now its finally finished. It measures 60" x 42", perfect for lounging around watching tv and keeping warm. I used a spinning block which was actually a lot smaller and used for a pincushion in the QFD Lets Stitch event several months ago.

Unfortunately the light is fading and so it was hard to capture the lovely colours of the fabric. I used a scrappy binding for finishing, seeing nothing I had was quite enough. Lots of lovely wonky lines of quilting and a soft fleece backing ... YUMMY!

I hope the person getting it will like it. Its not too girly do you think?
