wet weather

its just the kids and I today- and YUCK the weather is horrid, its been raining non stop for the last 12 hours! I'm just heating up some lunch - its cooled things down so we can have a hot lunch LOL.
So what to do in rainy weather? Make library bags of course LOL. Jacks schools librarian has requested 'waterproof' library bags so I nipped into spotlight and bought some plastic - here is the end result. It actually wasn't too difficult to sew. I've done one for Jack and one for the little girl down the road who is in his class. Obviously hers is the pink one LOL. I even put toggles on them to keep them all closed up and the books safe. I had to have a giggle because when they were finished Scott came in and pronounced them 'raincoat bags' which I guess, essentially, is what they are!

I also made the boys both a marble bag today - no photos of them because they snatched them up and took them somewhere in their room. Marbles has all of a sudden become a craze in our house... ah, the good old days of cats eyes and Globes! lol
